New York Speeding Tickets & Other Violations
Being cited with a New York speeding ticket or some other violation of the New York state or local Vehicle & Traffic law is nothing to take lightly. Local and statewide policies provide for grievous penalties including high court fines and surcharges, driving record points (which can affect the price of your auto insurance), driver's license restrictions, and even jail time. Failure to answer a ticket can make the matter worse. While you have the right to contest a traffic ticket in court, doing so may be impractical because of the time and/or money it will cost to do so. Hiring an attorney to go to court and plead the case for you can also be expensive, and there is never any guarantee things will go your way. What you may want to consider is hiring an experienced attorney to negotiate a favorable plea bargain for you. Most courts in New York state accept pleas to lesser charges, saving you hundreds of dollars in court fines and insurance premiums, as well as valuable time and energy. Attorney Randall Kehoe has been successfully negotiatiing traffic ticket pleas since 1990 and offers some of the most affordable and reasonable legal fees in the state, charging a flat $195.00 for most Vehicle & Traffic matters. Please feel free to call or complete an online inquiry for a free consultation of your case. There is also valuable information below regarding point allocation in New York state for various violations. For any additional questions, feel free to contact our office at your convenience.
